On Wednesday evenings 6:00 - 7:30pm

• Avoid eating for 1 - 2 hours before a class
• Drink plenty of water before and during a class (bring a bottle with you)
• Yoga mats will be provided, but please bring a blanket with you for relaxation
• Please arrive promptly for class

For you comfort, wear loose fitting natural fabric. In Kundalini, white is often worn as it is said to expand your auric radiance. This is optional. You may also choose to wear a head covering for meditation if you wish.

What to expect in a Kundalini Yoga Class
The class starts with a chant, followed by a warm-up. The kriya follows and the class finishes with a relaxation and meditation. It is said that Kundalini yoga is 25 times more powerful in its response emotionally and spiritually than any other form of yoga.
Kriya – a completed action. This can be a combination of postures (asana) breath, meditation and sound. It is a system that balances body, mind and soul and increases mental clarity and physical vitality.
Breath (Pranayam) – Breath is life itself. When we learn how to breathe consciously we can calm the mind and master other aspects of our lives.
Meditation – brings awareness and control of our thoughts. By using mantra (sound) and mudra (hand gestures) we can clear negative patterns and connect with our higher consciousness.
